Crop monitoring – cereals
It’s been detected a combined attack in field of more than one pest: Wheat flies, aphid and cicada. Warm weather provoked an early attack which continued with high intensity and is manifesting at the moment first decade of December. The same as rapeseed situations, fields sowed early were first attacked and the intensity is bigger here comparing with late sowed fields.
In our last newsletters we recommended that areas winter crops should be priority monitored, with clear specification for each crop.
Unfortunately now, in some areas the monitoring wasn’t done at the right time or wasn’t done at all. The differences and negative aspects will be easy observed.
