In some areas, farmers should change the spring sowing plan
Spring cereals crops, when seeding period is overdone will present a higher risk comparing with regular years. The main effort should be focused on sunflower, corn and soya bean. As soon as we can enter in the field, we have to go on with actions regarding elimination of water by making ditches and gutters, and where is the case we’ll use moto-pumps.
Second of all must we have to start or continue fertilization for crops sowed in autumn.
Also when we can enter in the field we have to start actions for preparing the seedbed and sowing for crops from époque I emergency 2 where the most important are sugar beet and mangold, potato and sun-flower.
Due delays occurred the activities will be mixed, the ones for crops from first époque with the ones with crops from second epoque emergency I.
The most important crops from this category are: maize, sorghum, soya and beans.
All the sowing campaign from this spring will be concentrated, with a lot of activities that should be done in a very short time and this will make full usage of tractors and equipments, capacity of organization, logistics and financial effort which agricultural companies should do.
