Storing facilities
All the storing places, especially the one for seeds must be controlled. For bulk products we are checking periodically temperature and humidity to avoid disease infections or high temperatures. All the infections detected must be removed immediately.
In all storing types, no matter if we have stock buildings or silo cells, should be done disinfestations before storing. This job is recommended to be done by specialized companies. When is a rodent problem, the usage of traps, poison bates or ultrasonic equipments is very helpful.
All the seeds must have required purity and humidity parameters reached by conditionality and selection before storing.
Work safety measures for pesticides storing
1. Storing and keeping is made in stock buildings or especial storerooms;
2. Stock buildings will have waterproof pavement and tooled up with weighing machines and water installations or installations for removing the residual waste or mechanical ventilation and stake for putting of fire. Is forbidden the entrance with open fire where are flammable liquids;
3. The plant protection products could be self-ignition therefore are stored on pallets in 2-3 sacks layers;
4. The distribution rooms must have a natural ventilation;
5. Keeping the protection materials and first aid kit, the documents of entrances and deliveries, is done in separate place than the plant protection products;
6. Unused products will be sent back to storage immediately after the work is done;
7. The store man will stay in storing rooms only for receiving or giving the products. He is responsible on taking decontamination measurements or, depending on situation, he will destroy the packages;
8. The store man and the employs will wear all time of receiving and giving products the protection equipments;
9. Store man will have a special register of protection plants products where are kept the inputs and outputs, selected on types and quality;
10. Heating with stoves the storing places is totally forbidden;
11. Storing of feeds, fodder, domestic objects, clothes or other materials is forbidden;
12. Storing place should be built at 50 m distance from social buildings, water sources or streams;
13. In storing buildings, the products are placed on sorts. Each sort will be tagged with product name wrote with white on a colored background (the color will be given by the representative toxicity color)
