World Market Wheat price has reached a new high level

combina-grauA heat wave in Russia, the worse in the last 130 years, is believed that has already destroyed 20% from wheat yield. Lack of precipitation and high temperatures blows up cereals price.

The Russian Government has declared emergency in 17 regions, hereby, agricultural areas close to Volga River, Ural Mountains and center of Russia had been affected 50-70%.

According to Reuters, temperatures over 40 0C had destroyed nearly 10 million hectares, making the wheat price to reach a maximum level.

Russia is the world’s third largest wheat exporter after the US and Canada.
